This is your mostly weekly Pack 95 Newsletter. This will normally come out Sunday mornings but that depends on your Cubmaster remembering to schedule it.

Upcoming Events
- First Tuesday of every Month is our monthly Parent meeting. 6:00 at BUMC
- Friday October 27- Sunday October 29 – Camp Franken-Science - Worth Ranch
- Scouts will live out the role of a Mad Scientist on this Cub Scout Family weekend camp-out! Engage in shooting sports activities such as BBs and Archery, create custom leatherwork projects, plus get elbow-deep in STEM activities in our mysterious Laboratory of Insanity, muahahaha!
- Council cost per scout is $45 and adult is $35. We will be eating at the dining hall at the camp. Food is $20 per person for the weekend.

- Monday November 13 7:00 PM – Pack Reptile Experience - BUMC Gym
- Join us for a fun night of lizards, snakes, and other fun animals brought to you.
- Friday December 2 – Benbrook Christmas Tree lighting and hot chocolate fundraiser - Dutch Branch Park
- Come watch some fireworks, drink some cocoa and enjoy the evening. Our Troop and Pack leaders will be serving free hot chocolate for the community. Donations are accepted.
- Thursday December 14 6:00 PM – Pack Christmas Party - Westpark Elementary Gym
- Christmas fun and maybe a special guest!
- Saturday January 6 – Cub-O - Sid Richardson Scout Camp
- Cub-O at Sid Richardson will be 1/6/2024. Cub-O is an orienteering event designed for everyone to enjoy: dens that compete hard, dens that want an easy hike in the woods, and dens that want to teach their youth more about problem solving, map reading and strategy. Council cost for the event is $20 for adult and $25 for scout participants. Each Scout team requires at least 2 adult participants. We will NOT be camping out this year.

- Friday January 19 – Setup for Pinewood Derby - BUMC gym
- Setup for the derby as well as time to test cars for families that assist. Will start based on YMCA practice schedule.
- Saturday January 20 – Pinewood Derby - registration 8:30, races begin 9:00 - BUMC Gym
- Derby Time!!!
- Saturday February 17 – Blue and Gold Banquet, BUMC gym
- Our annual banquet and awards ceremony.
